Fayet Valles

Expert Advisor

Fayet is a seasoned operator and former McKinsey Associate Partner with over 15 years of experience spanning management consulting, acquisition diligence, and operating model transformation. He specializes in partnering with executive teams to drive financial and execution discipline, having led engagements across banking, insurance, telecom, industrials, and biopharma that delivered measurable results — from a 60% improvement in time-to-market for a major bank’s operating model to a 20% cost reduction for a multi-country telecom operator.

As a successful entrepreneur, Fayet is the Founder and President of Aliet Capital, an investment and operating platform where he sourced, acquired, and now runs a lower middle-market industrial company with full P&L and debt-service responsibility. He has implemented liquidity management frameworks, reengineered sales and pricing operating models, and led ERP and CRM modernization to improve reporting accuracy and execution velocity. Prior to founding Aliet Capital, he spent over a decade at McKinsey & Company and Booz & Co./Strategy&, where he led diligence, post-merger integration, and cost transformation engagements for Fortune 500 clients across financial services, telecom, and industrials.

Fayet earned an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, where he was a Michael J. Bachich Fellowship recipient, and completed executive education in Venture Capital & Private Equity at Columbia Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Systems Engineering from Tec de Monterrey, earned on a merit-based scholarship, with study abroad at The University of Texas at Austin.
